Import & Export Operations Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import & Export Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of international trade operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing logistics processes to support our global business activities. You will play a crucial part in the smooth flow of goods and documentation for our clients within the analytics and research sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process all import and export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and airlines to arrange transportation and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales, finance) to ensure seamless execution of trade operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in import/export activities.
- Stay updated on changes in international trade laws and best practices.
