Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Import & Export Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Vishakhapatnam. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing the international trade operations for our diverse FMCG product portfolio. The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of import/export regulations, documentation, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient cross-border transactions. A Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) background is preferred, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills applicable to managing complex trade data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and customs procedures.
• Prepare and process all necessary import/export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and other third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions, including customs duties, taxes, and fees.
• Utilize data analysis skills, potentially from a BCA background, to identify trends, optimize processes, and reduce costs in import/export operations.
• Stay updated on changes in international trade laws, tariffs, and trade agreements that may impact the company's operations.
• Assist in the negotiation of freight rates and other logistics-related services.
