Industrial Engineer

Role Summary:
Walmart is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic operations team. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving cost savings across our retail supply chain and store operations. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, data analysis, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing operational processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Develop and implement new process designs, workflows, and layouts to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to collect, interpret, and present operational data to stakeholders.
- Design and conduct time and motion studies to understand and optimize task performance.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and merchandising, to implement solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed operational changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all process improvements.
- Train and mentor operational staff on new processes and best practices.
