Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with a strong background in process optimization and efficiency improvement within the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their M.Pharma knowledge to understand and enhance manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence at our Vishakhapatnam facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Design and implement new production layouts and workflows to optimize material flow and minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish performance standards and identify opportunities for productivity gains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, R&D, and supply chain, to implement process improvements.
- Utilize statistical analysis and process control techniques to monitor and improve product quality and consistency.
- Manage projects related to process improvement, automation, and technology adoption.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility.
- Apply principles of pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance to food processing operations where applicable, ensuring high standards of hygiene and product integrity.
- Train and mentor junior staff on process improvement methodologies and best practices.
