Infectiologist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infectiologist to join our team at our Indian operations. The Infectiologist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent, monitor, and control infectious diseases within our manufacturing facilities and workforce, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining a healthy and productive work environment, especially in the context of global health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive infectious disease prevention and control programs tailored to the electronics manufacturing environment.
* Conduct risk assessments to identify potential sources of infection and implement mitigation strategies.
* Oversee health surveillance programs for employees, including monitoring for symptoms and potential outbreaks.
* Collaborate with HR and facilities management to ensure a safe and healthy workplace, including protocols for sanitation, ventilation, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Provide expert advice and training to employees and management on infectious disease prevention, hygiene practices, and emergency response.
* Stay abreast of the latest scientific research, public health guidelines, and regulatory changes related to infectious diseases and occupational health.
* Manage and coordinate response efforts during outbreaks or potential health emergencies.
* Liaise with local health authorities and external medical professionals as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of health surveillance, incident reports, and program effectiveness.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of company-wide health and safety policies.
