Infectiologist

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infectiologist to join our innovative startup in the auto components industry. This unique role will focus on understanding and mitigating potential biological contamination risks within our manufacturing processes, supply chain, and product lifecycle. The Infectiologist will play a crucial role in ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in a non-traditional context.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and control biological hazards in manufacturing environments.
- Conduct risk assessments related to microbial contamination in raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
- Design and oversee sanitation protocols and sterilization procedures for equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to integrate biological safety considerations into product design and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and analyze environmental samples for the presence of microorganisms.
- Investigate and report on any contamination incidents, recommending corrective actions.
- Stay abreast of relevant scientific literature, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to biological safety in industrial settings.
- Train relevant personnel on hygiene practices and biological hazard awareness.
