Role Summary: The Informatics Practices Teacher will be responsible for educating and training hospital staff, including medical professionals and administrative personnel, on the effective use of information technology systems within the healthcare environment. This role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency, data management, and patient care through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on hospital information systems (HIS), electronic health records (EHR), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and other relevant healthcare IT applications.
- Create training materials, manuals, and user guides tailored to different user groups and skill levels.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching.
- Assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for IT-related queries from staff.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare informatics and technology.
- Collaborate with IT department and clinical leadership to align training with organizational goals and system updates.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, local Indian regulations) in all training and system usage.
