Input/Output Editor

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Input/Output Editor to join our dynamic post-production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the ingest and export of various media assets, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and project deadlines. You will play a crucial role in the efficient flow of media within our pipeline, working closely with editors, colorists, and quality control personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ingesting raw footage, graphics, and other media assets into the editing system, ensuring proper organization and metadata tagging.
- Transcoding and converting media files to required formats and codecs for different stages of post-production.
- Preparing and exporting final deliverables in various formats (e.g., ProRes, H.264, IMF packages) according to client and broadcast specifications.
- Performing quality control checks on ingested and exported media to identify and resolve any technical issues (e.g., dropped frames, audio sync problems, color space discrepancies).
- Managing media storage and archiving, ensuring efficient retrieval of assets.
- Collaborating with editors, supervisors, and other post-production staff to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to media ingest, playback, and export.
- Maintaining accurate logs and documentation of all media processed.
