Role Summary:
As an Instrumentation Engineer at IDEO, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation systems for innovative product and service development projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and reliable measurement and control of physical parameters, contributing to the creation of groundbreaking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instrumentation systems for prototypes and new product development.
- Select appropriate sensors, transducers, and measurement devices based on project requirements.
- Develop calibration procedures and ensure the accuracy and reliability of instrumentation.
- Integrate instrumentation systems with control systems and data acquisition platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation hardware and software.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and performance reports.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in instrumentation and measurement.
