Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Instrumentation Engineer with a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing the financial aspects related to the instrumentation and control systems within our port and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical understanding and strong financial acumen, enabling them to contribute effectively to project planning, cost analysis, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the financial planning, budgeting, and cost control for instrumentation projects and maintenance activities.
- Analyze and report on the financial performance of instrumentation systems, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Manage procurement processes for instrumentation equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate the financial viability of new instrumentation technologies and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation related to instrumentation assets and expenditures.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Support in contract negotiation and vendor management for instrumentation-related services and supplies.
- Contribute to risk assessment and mitigation strategies from a financial perspective for instrumentation projects.
