Insurance Analyst - Chemicals Sector (1-3 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Insurance Analyst with 1-3 years of experience, preferably holding an M.Pharma degree, to join our growing team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing insurance policies, claims, and risk exposures related to our chemical manufacturing and pharmaceutical operations in India. This role requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for risk mitigation and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage for all company assets, liabilities, and operations within the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
- Evaluate insurance claims, investigating the cause and extent of damages or losses, and liaising with insurance providers and legal counsel as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential exposures and recommend appropriate insurance strategies and risk management measures.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting insurance for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries in India.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on insurance coverage, claims status, risk profiles, and cost-saving opportunities for senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Legal) to gather information and ensure alignment on insurance and risk management practices.
- Assist in the negotiation of insurance premiums and terms with brokers and underwriters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance policies, claims, and related documentation.
- Utilize data analytics tools to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in claims data and policy performance.
