Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Analyst with 1-3 years of experience and an MCA degree to join our team in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing insurance policies, claims data, and risk assessments to support the company's insurance strategy and ensure adequate coverage for our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong analytical skills and a good understanding of IT systems relevant to data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze insurance policies to ensure alignment with company needs and industry best practices.
- Review and process insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collect and analyze data related to claims, risk exposure, and policy performance.
- Assist in the evaluation of insurance proposals and renewal negotiations.
- Develop reports and dashboards to present findings on insurance coverage and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Operations) to gather necessary information for insurance assessments.
- Utilize IT tools and databases for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Stay updated on insurance regulations and market trends relevant to the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Identify potential risks and recommend strategies for mitigation through insurance.
- Support the insurance team in ad-hoc projects and analysis.
