We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Risk Analyst with 3-4 years of experience and a B.Des degree to join our growing biotechnology startup in Vadodara. This role is integral to identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks that could impact our insurance coverage and overall business operations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure our risk mitigation strategies are robust and aligned with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential insurance liabilities and exposures within the biotechnology sector.
- Analyze existing insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage and recommending adjustments based on evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with product development, R&D, and manufacturing teams to understand operational risks and their insurance implications.
- Develop and maintain risk registers and documentation related to insurance and potential claims.
- Assist in the evaluation of insurance broker proposals and the negotiation of policy terms.
- Monitor industry-specific risks and regulatory changes that may affect insurance requirements.
- Support the claims investigation and resolution process, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Contribute to the development of internal controls and procedures to minimize insurance-related losses.
- Prepare clear and concise reports for senior management on risk profiles and mitigation plans.
