Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Insurance Sales / Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in expanding our reach and impact by developing strategic partnerships and driving revenue through insurance-related initiatives that support our educational and vocational programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Indian insurance market and a passion for social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to identify and secure new partnerships with insurance companies and related organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the insurance sector, including brokers, agents, and corporate clients.
- Identify opportunities to integrate insurance products and services that benefit Pratham's beneficiaries and support program sustainability.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Drive sales targets and revenue generation through effective sales strategies and execution.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management and potential partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements and program delivery.
- Stay updated on insurance regulations and compliance requirements in India.
