Internal Auditor

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Auditor to join our finance team. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting and operational efficiency within the unique context of the gems and jewellery sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute internal audit engagements across various departments, including procurement, sales, inventory, and finance.
- Assess financial and operational risks and identify control weaknesses.
- Develop and implement audit plans and procedures.
- Conduct testing of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings and suggesting corrective actions.
- Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing, particularly within the luxury goods and precious metals sector.
