Internal Auditor - Water Treatment / Waste Management (0-2 Yrs Exp)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Internal Auditor with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Thane. This role is ideal for a recent postgraduate looking to build a career in internal audit within the dynamic water treatment and waste management industry. The Internal Auditor will assist in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and governance operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of internal audit engagements as per the annual audit plan.

Review and test internal controls, policies, and procedures to identify potential risks and control weaknesses.

Gather and analyze audit evidence, documenting findings and recommendations.

Prepare draft audit reports, highlighting key observations and proposed corrective actions.

Support senior auditors in conducting fraud investigations and special audits.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Maintain audit working papers and documentation in accordance with professional standards.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies.
