Inventory Controller

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Inventory Controller to manage and oversee all aspects of inventory within our textile and apparel manufacturing facilities in India. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in inventory management processes, from raw materials to finished goods. This role is crucial for maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and supporting production and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
- Manage stock movement, including receipts, dispatches, and transfers, ensuring proper documentation.
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend disposition strategies.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
- Utilize inventory management software and systems to track and manage inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse management best practices.
- Prepare inventory reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
