Inventory Controller - Events / Live Entertainment Sector (3-5 Yrs)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Controller with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Design (M.Des) degree, bringing a unique perspective to optimizing event asset management. This role is crucial for ensuring that all event-related inventory, from decorative elements to technical equipment, is managed efficiently, maintained in optimal condition, and readily available for successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the complete inventory lifecycle, including procurement, storage, distribution, and disposal of event assets.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using specialized software and databases, ensuring real-time tracking of all items.

Implement and enforce strict inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage, and obsolescence.

Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Collaborate with event production teams to forecast inventory needs, manage stock levels, and ensure timely availability of required items.

Manage the maintenance and repair of inventory items, ensuring they are in excellent working condition for events.

Develop and implement innovative storage solutions and cataloging systems, leveraging design thinking principles.

Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock rotation, and recommend cost-saving measures.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies regarding inventory management.
