Inventory Management (2-3 Yrs) at Himalaya

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Management professional with 2-3 years of experience to join our growing team at Himalaya Wellness Company in Nagpur. This role is crucial for optimizing our stock levels, ensuring product availability, and contributing to the efficiency of our FMCG operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their M.Des background to bring innovative and design-thinking approaches to inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage inventory levels across all warehouses and distribution centers to ensure optimal stock quantities.

Implement and refine inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and physical inventory checks.

Analyze sales data, demand forecasts, and lead times to predict future inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstocking.

Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and timely order fulfillment.

Utilize design thinking principles to identify inefficiencies in current inventory management systems and propose user-centric solutions.

Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and generate regular reports on inventory status, turnover, and discrepancies.

Develop and implement strategies for slow-moving and obsolete inventory.

Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety regulations related to inventory handling and storage.
