Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Banking Analyst to join our finance team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our strategic growth initiatives, including fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and financial planning within the dynamic animation and VFX sector. You will work closely with senior management to develop financial models, conduct market research, and prepare presentations for investors and stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis to identify investment opportunities and competitive landscapes.
- Prepare client-ready presentations, pitch books, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in due diligence processes for potential transactions.
- Support senior bankers in deal execution and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, CapIQ).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
- A genuine interest in the animation and VFX industry is a plus.
