Role Summary:
Nykaa is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Banking Associate to join its dynamic corporate finance team. This role will be instrumental in supporting strategic financial initiatives, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and financial planning within the rapidly growing beauty and personal care sector in India. The Associate will work closely with senior management and external advisors to drive value creation and strategic growth for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, valuation modeling (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies), and due diligence for potential M&A transactions and strategic investments.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books, presentations, and other client materials for fundraising activities (equity and debt) and M&A mandates.
- Support the development and execution of financial strategies, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and identification of growth opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the beauty and personal care sector in India.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Strategy, Finance, Legal) and external advisors (investment banks, lawyers, consultants) to ensure successful transaction execution.
- Manage deal processes, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
