Job Description
Role Summary: The Investment / Lending Risk Analyst will be responsible for assessing and managing financial and credit risks associated with investments and lending activities within the Defence & Aerospace sector. This role requires a strong understanding of financial markets, credit analysis, and risk management principles, with a focus on the unique challenges and opportunities in the Indian defence industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive financial and credit risk assessments for potential investments and lending opportunities.
Analyze financial statements, market data, and industry trends to identify and quantify risks.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and policies.
Monitor existing investments and loan portfolios for credit deterioration and compliance.
Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to senior management and investment committees.
Stay abreast of regulatory changes and their impact on lending and investment practices in the defence sector.
Collaborate with business development and legal teams to structure deals and ensure risk is adequately addressed.
