Role Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Investment / Lending Risk Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role will be instrumental in assessing and mitigating financial risks associated with our investment and lending activities, particularly in the context of the dynamic Indian beauty and personal care market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust risk management frameworks to ensure the financial health and sustainable growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for potential borrowers and investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate risk exposure and potential losses.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and investment performance, identifying early warning signs of distress.
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry-specific risks impacting the beauty and personal care sector in India.
- Formulate recommendations for risk mitigation strategies and credit policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the investment, legal, and operations teams, to ensure effective risk management.
- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and relevant committees.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices in risk management within the Indian financial landscape.
