Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Investment / Lending Risk professional to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, managing, and mitigating risks associated with our lending and investment activities within the EdTech sector. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of financial risk frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement robust risk assessment frameworks for new and existing lending/investment products.
Analyze financial data, market trends, and macroeconomic factors to identify potential risks.
Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signs of credit deterioration or investment underperformance.
Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities and borrowers.
Prepare comprehensive risk reports and present findings to senior management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, finance, and legal, to ensure adherence to risk policies.
Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in risk management.
