IT Asset Management Specialist

Role Summary:
Siemens is seeking a dedicated IT Asset Management Specialist to manage and optimize the lifecycle of IT assets across our global operations. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance, reducing costs, and enhancing the efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for tracking, managing, and maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, from procurement to disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures.
* Maintain a comprehensive and accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets, including license compliance.
* Track the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
* Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.
* Manage software license compliance and optimize license utilization to reduce costs.
* Collaborate with IT procurement, finance, and other departments to ensure efficient asset acquisition and disposal.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings through asset optimization and rationalization.
* Utilize IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools to manage the asset database.
* Provide regular reports on asset inventory, utilization, and compliance to management.
* Ensure data security and integrity of the IT asset database.
