IT Asset Management Specialist

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at Reliance Retail. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing the lifecycle of all IT assets within the organization, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and security. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking asset movements, and supporting procurement and disposal processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures.
- Maintain a comprehensive and accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets.
- Track the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and company policies.
- Manage software license compliance and optimize license utilization.
- Collaborate with IT procurement to ensure timely acquisition and deployment of assets.
- Coordinate the secure disposal of retired IT assets.
- Generate reports on IT asset inventory, utilization, and costs.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through asset optimization and renegotiation of contracts.
- Work closely with IT support, security, and finance teams to ensure seamless IT asset management.
