IT Asset Management Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced IT Asset Management Specialist to join our dynamic IT team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and mitigating risks associated with hardware and software within the organization. This role is crucial for maintaining an accurate inventory and supporting strategic IT decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT asset management policies and procedures.
• Track and manage all IT hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage software licenses, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and optimizing license utilization.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventory database.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to streamline asset acquisition and disposal processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings through asset optimization and efficient resource allocation.
• Manage vendor relationships related to IT asset procurement and maintenance.
• Provide regular reports on IT asset status, utilization, and compliance to management.
• Ensure secure and environmentally responsible disposal of IT assets.
