Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure professional to join our dynamic team at ONGC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our complex IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for our critical oil and gas operations. This role requires a broad understanding of various IT infrastructure components and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows/Linux), including physical and virtual environments.
- Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and manage storage solutions and data backup/recovery systems.
- Provide support for end-user computing devices and related hardware/software.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Develop and maintain IT infrastructure documentation, including network diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
