Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated IT Infrastructure Services professional with 1-2 years of experience and an M.Tech degree to join our team in Guwahati. This role will involve supporting and maintaining our critical IT infrastructure, ensuring its optimal performance and availability. You will work closely with senior IT staff to implement and manage various systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and related software.
- Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, under supervision.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues, escalating to senior engineers as needed.
- Participate in the deployment and management of IT infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to the documentation of IT systems, procedures, and best practices.
- Support end-users with IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
