Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The IT Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our organization's network infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems, which are vital for our clinical research operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Manage and maintain network hardware and software, including upgrades and patches.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with other systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on network-related issues.
- Participate in IT projects related to network infrastructure upgrades and new implementations.
