IT Project Lead | Doctorate/PhD Professionals | Ahmedabad

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative IT Project Lead with a Doctorate/PhD to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in managing IT projects within the financial services sector. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The role requires a deep understanding of project management methodologies, a strong technical acumen, and the ability to translate complex research into actionable project plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Leverage your PhD-level analytical skills to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Where required by the nature of the project, apply academic research methodologies to problem-solving and innovation.
- Create and deliver project status reports, proposals, presentations, and documentation.
- Manage vendor relationships and performance.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, presentations, and documentation.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Apply lessons learned to future projects.
