Job Description

Role Summary: As an IT Security Consultant at HDFC Bank, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing security solutions to protect the bank's critical information assets and systems. You will play a pivotal role in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing of banking applications, networks, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, and respond effectively to breaches.
- Design and deploy security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., RBI guidelines, ISO 27001).
- Provide expert advice and guidance on information security best practices to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
