Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Vendor Management Lead to oversee and optimize our relationships with IT service providers and software vendors. This role is crucial for ensuring that HUL leverages technology effectively and efficiently, driving value and mitigating risks associated with our IT partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT procurement, contract negotiation, performance management, and strategic vendor relationship building within a large, complex organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT vendor management strategy aligned with HUL's business objectives.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT vendor relationships, including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and offboarding.
Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing with IT vendors to achieve optimal terms and cost savings.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for vendors, conducting regular performance reviews and driving continuous improvement.
Identify and manage risks associated with IT vendor engagements, including security, compliance, and business continuity.
Act as the primary point of contact for key IT vendors, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
Collaborate with internal IT teams, legal, procurement, and business units to ensure vendor services meet requirements.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT vendor management.
Manage IT vendor budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
