Jewellery Designer (1-3 Yrs) for a Startup

Role Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic startup team in Lucknow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of jewellery design principles, material sourcing, and manufacturing processes, coupled with a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree, bringing a unique perspective on the business and financial aspects of design and production.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and design innovative jewellery pieces across various categories (rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings) using CAD software and traditional sketching methods.

Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, materials, and stone settings.

Collaborate with artisans and manufacturers to oversee the production process, ensuring designs are executed to quality standards.

Research current market trends, emerging styles, and competitor offerings to inform design direction.

Assist in cost estimation and material selection, leveraging your M.Com background to understand the financial implications of design choices.

Prepare design presentations and mood boards for internal review and potential client pitches.

Maintain an organized digital and physical archive of designs, technical drawings, and material samples.
