Jewellery Designer

Role Summary: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer to join our team. While our primary focus is on medical devices, we are exploring innovative design aesthetics for certain components and user interfaces that can benefit from a jewellery design perspective, focusing on ergonomics, material aesthetics, and user experience. This role requires a unique blend of artistic vision and an understanding of technical constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design aesthetically pleasing and functional elements for medical devices, drawing inspiration from jewellery design principles.
• Develop 2D sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of design concepts.
• Collaborate with product development teams, engineers, and material scientists to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical specifications.
• Select appropriate materials and finishes, considering durability, biocompatibility, and aesthetic appeal.
• Research current design trends and emerging technologies relevant to both jewellery and medical device industries.
• Ensure designs adhere to regulatory requirements and user safety standards.
• Present design proposals and rationale to stakeholders.
