Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and articulate Anchorperson with 1-2 years of experience and a postgraduate degree to join our team at our Kochi facility. The Anchorperson will be responsible for presenting and hosting various programs, events, and digital content related to marine fisheries research and outreach. This role requires strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with a foundational understanding of the agriculture/fisheries sector in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host and present live and recorded programs, workshops, and public outreach events on behalf of the institute.
- Develop engaging scripts and content for various media platforms, ensuring accuracy and relevance to marine fisheries research.
- Conduct interviews with scientists, stakeholders, and community members.
- Facilitate discussions and moderate panel sessions during conferences and seminars.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling visual and audio content.
- Maintain a professional and engaging on-camera presence.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in marine fisheries and agricultural communication.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating outreach activities and events.
