We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Purchase Officer / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to lead our procurement operations in Surat. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services essential for our aerospace and defense manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement strategies, supply chain management, and contract negotiation within the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and defense industry standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, contract management, and purchase order processing.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and best procurement practices.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards in procurement activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast material needs.
• Prepare and present procurement reports, budgets, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Mentor and guide junior procurement staff.
