Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of delinquent accounts and develop strategies for debt recovery.
- Conduct legal research to ensure all collection activities comply with Indian debt recovery laws and regulations.
- Draft and send legal notices and demand letters to debtors.
- Liaise with legal counsel and external agencies for recovery proceedings.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and debtor communications.
- Analyze debtor profiles and financial situations to propose appropriate recovery plans.
- Support in the negotiation of payment plans and settlements with debtors.
- Prepare reports on collection performance and recovery status for management.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant legal frameworks and industry best practices.
