Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy computer vision models for tasks such as surface defect detection, measurement automation, and object recognition in steel products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers and data scientists, to understand operational challenges and translate them into computer vision solutions.
- Preprocess and augment image data for training and validation of deep learning models.
- Implement and fine-tune deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, Transformers) for specific industrial applications.
- Integrate computer vision systems with existing manufacturing equipment and software.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of deployed models.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning research and apply them to improve our processes.
- Document technical designs, experiments, and results.
