Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Manager with 2-3 years of experience and an M.Sc degree to oversee the procurement, management, and quality control of construction materials for our state-of-the-art biotechnology facility in Coimbatore. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of construction projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for managing material inventories, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that all materials meet stringent project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies for the procurement of construction materials, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
- Manage all aspects of material inventory, including tracking stock levels, optimizing storage, and minimizing waste.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming materials to ensure they meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to forecast material needs and plan procurement schedules.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and resolve any material-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in material handling and storage.
- Prepare regular reports on material usage, inventory status, and procurement costs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of material management policies and procedures.
