Role Summary:
Agri-Tech India is seeking a motivated Credit Risk Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Arts degree and a strong understanding of financial analysis and risk assessment within the agricultural sector. You will play a crucial role in evaluating the creditworthiness of our farmer partners and business clients, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our lending and partnership programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for new and existing clients, including farmers, cooperatives, and agri-businesses.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and business plans to determine credit viability.
- Develop and implement credit scoring models and risk mitigation strategies tailored to the agricultural sector.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and recommend proactive solutions.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to understand business needs and provide credit guidance.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and agricultural industry developments that may impact credit risk.
