Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with an M.Tech degree to join our Data Centre Operations and Server Management team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience looking to build a career in a dynamic and fast-paced telecom environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of our critical data center infrastructure and server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor data center infrastructure (servers, storage, networking) for performance and availability.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and upgrades for Windows/Linux servers.
- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests related to server hardware and operating systems.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and deployment of new server hardware and software.
- Contribute to data center physical security and environmental monitoring.
- Support backup and recovery operations.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on complex technical issues and projects.
- Adhere to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
