Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Deck Cadet with 2-3 years of experience to join our maritime operations team in Guwahati. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed relevant pre-sea training and possess a strong desire to learn and grow within the maritime industry. As a Deck Cadet, you will gain hands-on experience across various deck operations under the supervision of experienced officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's deck department.
  • Participate in lookout duties, navigation, and cargo operations.
  • Learn and perform maintenance of deck equipment and machinery.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, security procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain a logbook of duties performed and observations.
  • Support senior officers in various shipboard activities.
