Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our IT team in Noida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting our desktop computing environment. You will ensure smooth operation of all desktop hardware and software, providing timely technical assistance to end-users and contributing to the overall IT infrastructure stability within our pulp and paper manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and deploy desktop hardware and software, including operating systems and standard business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues reported by end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Perform regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to network resources.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on desktop applications and hardware.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and best practices.
