Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Engineer to join our growing team in Nagpur. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a B.A. degree looking to contribute to sustainable urban transport projects. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure environmental compliance and promote eco-friendly practices in our infrastructure development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for new urban transport projects.
- Monitor environmental parameters at project sites and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Support the development and implementation of environmental management plans (EMPs).
- Prepare environmental reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential environmental risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into design and construction phases.
- Stay updated on environmental regulations and best practices relevant to the urban transport sector in India.
- Participate in community consultations regarding environmental aspects of projects.
