Role Summary:
BYJU'S is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Import & Export - Other in Kolkata. This role will be instrumental in managing and streamlining our international trade operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and contributing to the smooth flow of educational materials and resources across borders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of import/export processes, documentation, and logistics, coupled with a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree that brings analytical and technological proficiency to the role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Indian and international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Prepare and submit all necessary import/export documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Monitor shipments and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on the status of inbound and outbound logistics.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in import/export activities.
- Utilize analytical skills gained from an MCA degree to track key performance indicators and generate reports on import/export activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless import/export operations that support business objectives.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the import/export process.
