Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Designer with a B.Pharma background to join our team in Chennai. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to apply their scientific understanding and design thinking to product development within the agrochemical and specialty chemicals sector. You will contribute to the conceptualization, design, and refinement of innovative product packaging and delivery systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the research and analysis of market trends, competitor products, and user needs related to chemical product packaging and application.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and manufacturing teams to translate product requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing design concepts.
- Develop 2D and 3D design visualizations, including sketches, renderings, and prototypes for new and improved product packaging.
- Evaluate the suitability of materials and manufacturing processes for packaging solutions, considering factors like chemical compatibility, safety, and environmental impact.
- Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to refine designs based on practical application and usability.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and import/export requirements for chemical products.
- Support the creation of technical documentation and specifications for manufacturing.
- Stay updated on advancements in packaging technology, sustainable materials, and industrial design best practices.
