Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychiatrist with 2-3 years of experience to join our expanding team in Bangalore. This role is integral to our public health initiatives, focusing on mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a government-backed program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health policies and a passion for serving diverse populations. An M.Tech degree is required, demonstrating advanced analytical and technological proficiency relevant to modern healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general practitioners, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Utilize data analytics and technological tools (supported by M.Tech background) for patient monitoring, outcome tracking, and program evaluation.
- Provide consultation services to healthcare professionals and community stakeholders on mental health matters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with national health regulations.
- Participate in research and development activities related to mental health service delivery in public health settings.
