We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sommelier to join our esteemed culinary team at The Leela, Vadodara. This entry-level position is perfect for a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a keen interest in wine and fine dining. You will assist our Head Sommelier in managing the wine cellar, curating the wine list, and providing exceptional wine service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the daily operations of the wine cellar, including inventory management, stock rotation, and maintaining optimal storage conditions.

- Support the Head Sommelier in selecting and sourcing wines, with a focus on diverse varietals and regions relevant to our clientele.

- Learn and present wine pairings with menu items to guests, offering informed recommendations based on their preferences and the chef's creations.

- Serve wines with precision and elegance, adhering to proper pouring techniques and glassware standards.

- Conduct wine tastings and training sessions for F&B staff, sharing knowledge and enhancing their understanding of wine.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of wine storage areas and dining room wine displays.

- Stay updated on wine trends, new releases, and industry best practices.
