Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated System Security Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Thiruvananthapuram. This role is crucial for safeguarding our IT infrastructure and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security principles and a business-oriented approach to risk management, leveraging their BBA/BBM background.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), and endpoint security solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Assist in developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into system design and deployment.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
- Manage security awareness training for employees, with a focus on business impact.
- Contribute to the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans from a security perspective.
